Welcome to Mercury Hall

Nestled on a secluded hilltop just minutes from downtown Austin, Mercury Hall offers an idyllic setting for a variety of occasions. This historic structure was built in 1904 in Mercury, Texas, and was moved to its current location in 1997. The Hall plays host to weddings, special events, fundraisers and performances.

Bursting with an indigenous landscape and a canopy of towering oak trees, the lushly appointed grounds surrounding Mercury Hall belie its city address. The structure recalls a bygone era of uncomplicated beauty, reveling in its simplicity. Mercury allows you to choose your own caterers and vendors without any restrictions or extra cost.. Of course, if you need help finding caterers, florists, photographers, etc. we will be glad to point you in the direction of any of several companies that we trust, to do an excellent job.

We rent the space for blocks of time. When choosing a consecutive block of time, for your event, keep in mind that those hours need to include your set-up/decorating time and your breakdown time. During the duration of your event, we provide an on-site manager to answer any questions and keep a watchful eye on the property.

Our hall looks its best around 150 people for an inside event, if your event is larger, we recommend renting a tent to increase your covered space.

We do not hold dates, but you can reserve or book them with a deposit of half of the rental rate. If you have any additional questions, or curious if we have a date open, please feel free to contact us directly.
